Talk less and embrace development, Nyanza people told

Former Kisumu Senator has pleaded with Nyanza people to lie low and benefit from the government goodies.

Outa said the people of Nyanza must now lower their tones and stop their utterances in regard to the government food donation to the community.

Outa said it is a fact that many families are facing hunger contrary to utterances that the people of Nyanza have never lacked food.

He noted that such words are not kind and only drives away the government from helping those who are in need of food.

He said that the fourth leg of food donation by ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo will kick off this weekend in the counties of Migori, Homa Bay, Kisumu and Siaya.

Speaking to the press in Nyando Sub County, Outa said the gesture by the government in food donation should not be misconstrued to mean anything political.

He said the country went through a grueling election and it is now time for the government to deliver services to the people.

Outa said politics should not create a wedge among leaders but unite all to ensure development for the people.

In the same breadth, Outa called for close working relationships between elected and non-elected leaders in the Nyanza region by forging a common stand on development.
